Since relocating to Queensland in 2013, Ben has taken the reigns as World Series Sprintcars and Speedcar Super Series lead commentator after 8 years of travelling the nation with various motorsport codes, and now takes on the role of Toowoomba Speedway's Events and Operations Manager with a wealth of experience in production and volunteer management. Ben's passion is presenting speedway to the mainstream in a way that rivals higher profile sports, and with the backing and mentoring of Valvoline Raceway's Steve Green, Ben will no doubt achieve his goal of taking speedway to the mainstream.
Vanessa's administrative experience boasts an impressive width and depth, making her the perfect "go-to" girl for the speedway's book-keeping and systems management. Vanessa was raised on hard work, a "whatever it takes" attitude and a sincere desire to value customers and volunteers alike, while still maintaining a creative spark that inspired fresh ideas in all of hew work environments. The combination of Vanessa's logistical knowledge and Ben's public engagement is set to take Hi-Tec Oils Speedway to the next level and beyond.
Both Ben and Vanessa have the best speedway promotional team on tap, with the staff of sister speedway, Valvoline raceway at their disposal for taking the venue forward. General Manager Steve Green, and administrative legend Jen Henricksen carry a combined 50 years of experience in the motorsport industry, while PR consultant and "the voice of speedway," Wade Aunger will tag team with Ben at many of the venue's major events. Add to that the creative genius of ex-Saatchi and Saatchi creative director, Steve May, and it quickly becomes obvious that Made Too Go Pty Ltd has assembled the best in the business to put speedway in the mainstream where it belongs.
