Toowoomba Top Guns Scott Lehfeldt, Terry Leerentveld and Nathan Politch will be joined by Modified Sedan Hard charger rocket Rodney Pammenter in this weekends Modlite Showdown supporting the USC Sprintcar Grand final.

All eyes will be on the "Rocket" to see how he adapts to the fast and nimble Modlite category. Sixteen of Qlds best will tackle Toowoomba Speedway to fight out who will take the top step of the podium.

Current Australian, Queensland, NSW and South Australian champion will be out to make amends after being upstaged by Toowoomba Top Gun Scott Lehfeldt in the last event at the venue. In a race that had the crowd on their feet in came down to the last frenetic couple of laps for Lehfeldt to sneak past Hancey and grab victory on his home turf. Brisbane Gasser Sean Rose will also be looking to take a step higher on the podium after finishing in third at the last event here in Toowoomba. He is certainly a crowd favourite as he hangs it all on the line for victory.

Qld hot shots Jac Carnall, Adam Walker, Neil Gregson and NSW invader Jared Stephenson will be hot on the heals of the leaders looking to improve on there last showings here on the high banks of Toowoomba. All is set for a huge night of Modlite action as these little cars never disappoint around the Toowoomba venue.
