The Production Sedan division in Toowoomba is set for further growth with today’s announcement that the Fox Shock Lab Australia Toowoomba Club Championship Series set to be held at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway during the upcoming 2019/20 speedway season.
Rowan Shilleto from Fox Shock Lab Australia is the latest to throw his support behind SSA Sedan racing in Toowoomba and will ensure a three thousand dollar prize purse will be paid out to the top ten club members in the local Production Sedan series. The series prize money will be on top of the nightly cash on offer, along with the ‘Dean Fraser Memorial’ on February 8 that will again carry an impressive payout for Production Sedans. With almost a dozen Production Sedans competitors now around the Darling Downs region, along with cars in surrounding areas like Brisbane, Kingaroy and Lismore, the division is shaping up to explode during the season ahead.
Fox Shock Lab Australia are a local agent for Fox Shocks for all speedway divisions straight out of USA. Along with a full range of Fox Shocks, Rowan also specializes in shock dyno/revalue, repair and setup advice that’s proven successful across a range of divisions.
The Toowoomba Club Championship is being run by the local drivers association (Charlton Raceway Inc) in conjunction with Made Too Go Pty Ltd who operate Hi-Tec Oils Speedway. This season, the Fox Shock Lab Australia Toowoomba Club Championship Series will be held over the following rounds:
October 26: Round 1 December 7: Round 2 January 17: Round 3 February 8: Round 4 (Dean Fraser Memorial)
Production Sedans will also have a club show on 25 April alongside the PS Designer Homes T-Bar Nationals for Modified Sedans, however this will be a non-points event for the Proddies, as it clashes against the National Title being held in Western Australia.
More information about the Production Sedan Toowoomba Club Championship Series and how Production drivers can be involved can be obtained from local club president and series organiser Ryan Harris.
