BLATCH PUTS TITLE ON THE LINE!

This Saturday nights Stockmans Civil & Plant supported Queensland Lightning Sprint Title will see defending Queensland Champion Keith Blatch go up against a host of other competitors in a bid to defend his title at Toowoombas Hi-Tec Oils Speedway, with each driver settling for nothing but their best in their quest for glory.

With the honour of being named Queensland Champion at stake, its going to take a great deal of determination and drive for the winner to outperform their rivals, with consistency no doubt playing a crucial part in securing the crown.

Having had a somewhat indifferent season thus far, which was marred by a crash at Brisbanes Archerfield Speedway in early January, defending Queensland Champion and Toowoomba local Blatch is expected to fare well on home soil, being one of the most experienced drivers in the field, with almost two decades of racing experience under his belt, and having claimed last seasons Queensland Title at the Toowoomba venue.

Heading into the Queensland Title event in the best possible form off the back of successfully defending the NSW Title at Sydneys Valvoline Raceway, Lismores Kurt Wilson has been the form driver so far this season, with the current Australian and NSW Champion likely to be facing off at the front of the field with Blatch.
